Project Reveal: West Vancouver Master Bedroom

When our clients relocated from Calgary to West Vancouver we used most of the existing bedroom furniture including bed, bedside table, lamp, the bedding and even many of the accessories we had selected for their previous home. These items had all been recently purchased so it was important to use them in their new home. It's easy to do when you invest in the right pieces! 

We gave all of these items a new lease on life with the addition of wallpaper and an area carpet. The result is a fresh, modern bedroom, perfectly suited to unwind at the end of the day. Keep these tips in mind when investing in furniture you'll love enough to use again in the next house:

1. Stay neutral. Keeping a neutral colour scheme with fabrics and wood finishes is helpful as they'll go with anything.

2. Go for timeless and classic. It's much easier to work with items that have timeless appeal and versatility. Chances are you won't get sick of it either. 

3. Add wow to the walls. Because you don't take the walls with you, save this area for the wow factor to bring your neutral classics to life.
