Summer Vacation Bliss

Some people refer to today as “the most wonderful time of the year”. I don’t buy in and never have. I relish in summer whether it’s the pace, vacations, warmer and longer days…I can’t get enough of it. I also enjoy having my kids around more and less of the hectic schedule that will ensue now that school is in and the activities get rolling. I could honestly use another few weeks, but I digress…

We stayed fairly close to home this summer, enjoying Alberta and our neighboring friends in British Columbia. We really are lucky to live where we live, so close to all this incredible landscape. Here are a few pics to tell the tale of our summer, and like our daughter said earlier today, “summer…don’t leave us now”. I couldn’t agree more.
