A Day In The Life: Women's Workshop At The Cooking Room

I love that my work encompasses all design aspects from renovations to decorations. This weekend I ventured to Red Deer to a Woman’s Workshop event at The Cooking Room. My segment included ideas and tips for decorating a Thanksgiving table. I was amongst, chefs and fabulous food, a sommelier, cupcake decorating and floral arranging, it was a full house! It was a whirlwind trip, but really fun with the room full of energy and lovely ladies ready to be inspired.

The Cooking Room is an interactive and social cooking school offering hands on and demonstration classes, wine tastings and more! Not only have I participated in classes, I have been a part of their special event days which are typically offered during the Holidays as well as summer entertaining. If you happen to be in the area or live in Alberta, it’s worth the drive! Classes book up faster than you can say, “let’s eat!” so planning ahead (if possible) is suggested.
